Copy Accuracy

When you make photocopies or printouts of paper piecing, quilting or stenciling patterns, check the copies against the original to make sure that the size is accurate and the pattern is not distorted in any way. Photocopiers and printers, especially older models, aren’t always 100% accurate and this can affect your final block or quilt size if you’re not prepared for it. You can adjust the size of your printout in your graphics program or on the copier to get the right size.
