Quilting Consistency

If you’re machine quilting a project with stippling or some other small overall freehand design in the background, it’s best to start and complete this type of quilting without putting the project aside for any length of time, so that the quilting pattern remains consistent. Over time, the look of your own personal stippling “signature” can vary greatly, and taking a break from a project in the middle of the background quilting may cause the pattern to look inconsistent.
