Light Your Way

More light isn’t automatically better, especially in the case of stitching in the ditch or following a line made by a Hera marker. It’s the shadowing that makes the ditch or the Hera line easy to see. Instead of more light, think directional light. Place an extra light by your machine and experiment to find the best placement and direction to really see what you need to see when you’re machine quilting, and move the light or change the stitching angle slightly when needed.
