Taming the Paper

Do you really need to keep all those quilting magazines? (Psst! Next month, there will be a whole new crop!) Instead of keeping back issues of quilting magazines, go through the issues as you receive them and tear out what you like, what inspires you, and any relevant how-to articles. File them away in whatever organizational system you like—even if it’s just one big file folder. The really good stuff will be easier to store, keep track of and find when you need it. Be sure to recycle the bits you don’t want by sharing them with other quilters!
