Fluff, Stuff and Puddle

For machine quilting, the only time you’ll want to “package” the quilt by rolling both sides to the middle and securing with bicycle clips is when you’re quilting straight lines from top to bottom with a walking foot to secure the layers. Otherwise, it’s much easier to use the fluff, stuff and puddle method: fluff it up, stuff it through and puddle the quilt around the needle for freedom of movement.
