Perforated Quilting Stencils

You can use paper to transfer quilting designs to your quilt, and you’ll never have to remove marks from the fabric! Stack a few sheets of thin paper (you can find paper made specifically for machine quilting on rolls), with the design marked on one sheet on the top. Paper clip the sheets together so that they don’t’ move. Use your sewing machine with an unthreaded needle to perforate the paper stack on the design lines. Place one of the perforated sheets on your quilt, secure with pins, and quilt the design, following the perforated lines. Tear away the paper when finished!
