Perfect Piecing

OK, my favorite tip comes from Sharon Schamber. She uses school glue in a tiny dispenser to baste her 1/4 inch seams, then irons it. You get perfect seams every time, no traveling, nothing. Since I found that tip, I have not sewed without it. My tiny glue dispenser dispenses a very thin line of glue (which is just starch, she says) and once pressed, it sticks together. I have my iron set up near my sewing machine I use a June Tailor Cut’n Press, and I glue every piece.
